2-Week Hybrid Board & Train: A Team Effort for Lasting Success

Our 2-week Hybrid Board & Train program is designed to jumpstart your dog’s training while ensuring you, as the owner, are actively involved in the process. Training is a 50/50 partnership—we lay the foundation, but it’s up to you to reinforce and maintain the progress at home with our ongoing support and guidance.

Throughout the program, your dog will stay in our home in Portland, receiving daily structured training, enrichment activities, and exposure to real-world environments. You’ll receive regular updates, videos, and guidance, so when your dog returns home, you’ll know exactly what to do to continue their success.

Your Role in the Training Process

This is a Hybrid Board & Train program, meaning we lay the foundation, but you are responsible for continuing the training at home. Dogs are not robots—lasting success requires owner involvement.

✅ Attend all follow-up private sessions (scheduled weekly for 2 weeks)
✅ Reinforce training daily following our guidance
✅ Be consistent with rules and expectations at home

We will be with you every step of the way to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and provide support as you continue your dog’s progress.

Program Requirements

🔹 Crate Training: Dogs must be able to sleep comfortably in a crate with minimal whining, barking, or escape attempts. If your dog is not crate-trained, we recommend our Day Training program instead.
🔹 Health & Safety: All dogs must be up to date on core vaccines, rabies, and Bordetella, as well as current on flea and tick prevention.
🔹 Clean Bill of Health: Dogs should be clean, injury-free, and in good overall health at the time of drop-off.
🔹 Reactivity Welcome: We accept reactive dogs but are not currently taking bite-history or severe aggression cases.
